Sprayway Brown Canna HydroDry Boot

A classic leather hillwalking boot made in Italy.
Oiled nubuck built on a Vibram outsole with a PU cushioned midsole for long days in the hills.
Leathers, meshes and outer materials have a Durable Water Repellent finish to help prevent these materials absorbing water.

The HydroDRY Pro technology is a 4 layer fabric consisting of wicking abrasion resistance lining, protective open cell foam, non-porous membrane and protective tricot.
The HydroDRY fabric is constructed into a fully taped bootie on the inside of the product.

The Vibram XS Trek outsole is made from a rubber compound with optimal balance of traction and durability, responsive on unpredictable terrain, engineered for stability and comfort.

Ortholite insoles are the leading manufacturer of insoles for the world’s leading footwear brands; the compression set is less than 5% over time so the cushioning and fit never change inside the shoe, providing maximum comfort. The breathability is 95-100%, allowing air to circulate in and around the insole, keeping the foot cooler inside the shoe. The open-cell structure creates a moisture management system, helping to move moisture away from the foot to provide a cooler, drier, healthier shoe environment. Insoles are machine washable, coming out like new every time while maintaining all of their performance benefits after washing.

In 1974, above a laundrette in Chorlton, Greater Manchester, two lads with a little bit of cash in their back pockets set about making functional and affordable 4oz PU coated Nylon cagoules for the sailing market – Sprayway was born. On paper John & Simon were polar opposites, but when they worked together it clicked. Simon was a numbers and operations man, while John had a head for product and marketing; one liked their tea milky, the other strong. Yet it was their complementary individual passions that formed the basis of their relationship and set the tone that is still the heart of the brand today.

John’s ‘Function First’ design ethos that formed our first jacket is still reflected in every product we make. Great fit, functional features and the best fabrics at competitive price, all come as standard on our products - always have and always will.

Simon’s forward thinking set us apart from the competition. He adopted next day delivery on all our orders; although expected as standard today, it was unheard of in the 90’s. His can-do above-and-beyond customer service approach still runs through our team.

These simple things formed our brand DNA and make us who we are today.
