Rab Ladies Tasman Solar Eco 2 Left Zip Sleeping Bag

High performance, lower impact. The Solar Eco bags are built with recycled fabrics and recycled Stratus™ insulation. Ideal for the mountain bothy goer, the globetrotting backpacker, and the desert bivi in spring conditions, with a wide mummy shape for a comfortable night's sleep.

These resilient synthetic bags are filled with 100% recycled Stratus insulation, and lined and covered with a tough, 20D, recycled Atmos fabric with ripstop. Hardwearing, warm, and dependable, they are fast drying and cope with condensation or damp conditions.

The Solar Eco 2 is insulated with a double layer of Stratus insulation arranged in a concertina structure to trap warm air. The elastic internal quilting brings the lining and insulation closer to the user, helping to reduce pockets of cold air. The localised quilting simply means that the stitching which holds the insulation in place has been minimised to reduce the chance of cold spots. Perfect for spring and summer climbing trips, mountain bivis, and backpacking adventures.

The Solar Eco has an adjustable hood which can be cinched in snug around the face to shut out the chill and an adjustable neck baffle to stop the heat escaping. The ¾ length zip has an additional baffle along its length that acts as an effective draught excluder with an anti-snag zip guard. The wide mummy fit offers space to find your most comfortable sleeping position, with room for extra layers should night-time temperatures plummet.

    "WE ARE THE MOUNTAIN PEOPLE"

Rab is a United Kingdom mountaineering clothing and camping equipment manufacturer and supplier.

The company was founded in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, by mountaineer Rab Carrington. Their story began in 1981 in the attic of a small, terraced house in Sheffield where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Hand-stitched and devised with his own ingenious eye, Rab's experience from years spent in the mountains was apparent in his designs, and soon there was popular demand from Rab's friends and the growing local climbing community.

But things didn't stop there. Word soon spread, and the Sheffield attic became a factory floor, creating sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, those honest, hard-wearing designs can be found all over the world; wherever adventurous individuals face up to the elements. From Himalayan peaks to cold, crisp evenings around a camp fire.
