Rab Ink Vapour Rise Summit Jacket
Why complicate your kit list? Warm at the peak and comfortable during intense activity, our softshell VR Summit Jacket is the ideal all-in-one, multi-sport mountain system.
As the warmest piece in our new Vapour-Rise collection, the VR Summit Jacket is perfect for a range of winter activities, from skiing and ice climbing to cold-weather mountaineering. It features our latest Vapour-Rise technology, which uses a fast-wicking brushed polyester lining inside a highly breathable Pertex Quantum Air shell to keep you dry and comfortable between periods of exertion and moments of rest. To help maximise its breadth of mountain applications, it also features a weatherproof DWR coating and an adjustable helmet-compatible hood with stiffened peak. The adjustable hem and cuffs help tailor the fit, the secure handwarmer pockets are elevated to stay clear of a climbing harness, and the full-length YKK VISLON double-ended front zip makes belaying a breeze.

"WE ARE THE MOUNTAIN PEOPLE"
Rab is a United Kingdom mountaineering clothing and camping equipment manufacturer and supplier.
The company was founded in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, by mountaineer Rab Carrington. Their story began in 1981 in the attic of a small, terraced house in Sheffield where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Hand-stitched and devised with his own ingenious eye, Rab's experience from years spent in the mountains was apparent in his designs, and soon there was popular demand from Rab's friends and the growing local climbing community.
But things didn't stop there. Word soon spread, and the Sheffield attic became a factory floor, creating sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, those honest, hard-wearing designs can be found all over the world; wherever adventurous individuals face up to the elements. From Himalayan peaks to cold, crisp evenings around a camp fire.
